MBR sewage treatment process
Composition of quante MBR:
From the overall structure, MBR is mainly composed of membrane module, bioreactor and pump group, in which bioreactor is the main place for pollutant degradation, membrane module is equivalent to the secondary sedimentation tank in biological treatment system, which plays the role of solid-liquid separation, and pump is the power source of system effluent.

Characteristics of MBR process:
Compared with other biological treatment processes, MBR process has the following characteristics:
(1) The effluent quality is good and the stability is high: the effluent obtained by membrane filtration has a much higher biological concentration in the bioreactor than that obtained by ordinary activated sludge process, which greatly improves the biodegradability and load impact resistance. At the same time, the long retention time of sludge also enables microorganisms such as refractory organic decomposing bacteria and nitrifying bacteria to multiply and enrich in the reactor, especially for the removal of refractory organic matter and ammonia nitrogen, which can achieve ideal results. On the other hand, the interception of organic macromolecules smaller than the membrane pore size by membrane separation can ensure the stability of filtered effluent in sterilization, removal of suspended solids and reduction of BOD.
(2) Less land occupation: Membrane bioreactor can maintain a high sludge concentration, usually MLSS is 8~20g/L, which is 2.5~5 times that of traditional biological treatment. At the same time, the system saves the secondary sedimentation tank and sludge reflux equipment, saving the floor space.
(3) Simple operation and maintenance: the membrane separation unit is simple in process, the effluent and operation are not affected by factors such as sludge bulking, and the operation and maintenance are simple and convenient, and automatic control and management are easy to realize.
(4) The water cost of sludge disposal is low: the high sludge concentration and long sludge age in the system mean less sludge discharge, and the sludge output only accounts for 30% of the traditional process, which is extremely beneficial to the subsequent sludge treatment.
