The children are reading in the National Library.

At present (20 10), children's library provides all-round services for children aged 6- 15, such as China children's literature, digital resources and multimedia CD reading published in recent three years. The Children's Library of the National Library should not only provide rich and varied services for young readers who come to the National Library, but also use this as a platform to explore and study new methods, technologies and new ways of children's services, so as to play a greater role in promoting the development of children's libraries in China. Further strengthen the service to public libraries at all levels in China, especially children's libraries. The National Library will fully perform the functions of the National Library, provide services for grass-roots libraries in terms of personnel training, book joint cataloguing, interlibrary loan and other services with the help of digital library branch construction, county-level digital library promotion plan and national cultural information sharing platform, and provide services for children throughout the country through public libraries and children's libraries at all levels, thus extending the children's services of the National Library to the whole country. At the same time, we will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with national children's libraries and public libraries, promote the co-construction and sharing of resources, and provide more abundant cultural resources and services for children.
