1, Mountain Worship Festival
Worship the Mountain Festival, also known as the Festival of Sacrificing Raytheon, is a traditional festival of Zhuang nationality in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which is held on the third day of the third lunar month every year. At that time, all families will cook glutinous rice with five-colored flowers and prepare to sprinkle food, incense, candles, paper money and other offerings. 2. Seedling Worship Festival
Miao Festival, also known as Transplanting Festival, is a festival of Zhuang nationality on April 8, and is held on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month every year. Therefore, every household should kill chickens and worship the seedlings in the field to pray for the seedlings to grow sturdily. Some people go to the river to pick up "hemp vines" and cook jiaozi on this day.
On this day, Zhuang people in Nadang Township, Sixian County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will open ponds to catch fish, eat "raw fish", repair plows and harrows, and prepare for ploughing and transplanting rice. On the eighth day of April in the southern Zhuang language area, people invited Daogong to exorcise ghosts in the fields, and then began transplanting rice seedlings.
3. King's Day
Dawang Festival is a Zhuang festival in Mashan, Du 'an, Pingguo and other places along the Hongshui River in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is held on July 20 of the lunar calendar every year. On the festival day, every household kills chickens and ducks, and the chicken legs and duck legs are reserved for the children when the moon rises. And waved to the moon while eating, comforting the king in the moon: we are doing well now, please rest assured.
Legend has it that once upon a time, there was a girl named Dawang in Zhuangxiang. She was beautiful, hardworking and kind. The toast master wants to marry his concubine, but the king refuses. Once, the boss treated the King as a virgin to pray for rain, and the King offered sacrifices to those starving birds and animals. The toast framed the king for stealing food and had to have a laparotomy to prove it.
After the girl died, the birds buried her in the moon. It was July 20th. Since then, the Zhuang people have sacrificed chickens and ducks to the King on this day, and the "King's Day" has been inherited.
4. Winter solstice festival
Winter Solstice Festival is a festival of Zhuang people in Siyang County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Every year when the winter solstice in November of the lunar calendar comes, every household here will cook glutinous rice to worship the gods and ancestors, and invite relatives and friends to dinner. In some places, you must eat mung beans on holidays. Shuangqiaozhuang, Wuming County, the main content of the Winter Solstice Festival is to worship ancestors uninvited.
5. February Association
February Society is a folk religious festival of Luodong Zhuang in Yishan County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which is held on the second day of the second lunar month every year. At the beginning of February in the local lunar calendar, it has entered the busy farming season. At the beginning of the busy farming season, people deliberately offered sacrifices to the king of the country, hoping that the king of the country would bless the good weather and live a long life.
Different villages hold February festivals in different forms, which can be roughly divided into two types. One is to offer sacrifices to families, and then each family offers a whole piece of cooked pork, fragrant paper and other sacrifices at Wang Qian, and then makes sacrifices.
The other is based on the village. During the collective sacrifice, the whole village raised funds to buy fat pigs, then carried the pigs to the temple or altar, and then placed other sacrifices to hold a unified sacrifice ceremony. After the sacrifice, the pork was divided equally according to the number of fund-raising households. People take the pork they share home, and the family cooks together and gets together.
