About Sanxiaxiang

After half an hour’s bus ride and 17 minutes’ high-speed train ride from the school, our practice team arrived at the destination of our practice—Langxi County. Although the location of this practice is only one hour away from the school. But for our practice team, we still feel like we are strangers in a foreign land. We are not very familiar with the practice locations. We are worried that there is no transportation to each practice location in the township, and we are worried that there will be no one at the practice location. Can help us explain the story behind the old site.

Fortunately, we were well prepared for the practice location. On the morning of July 21, we took a bus to our first practice location, Biqiao Town. As expected, we met the Secretary of the Youth League Committee of Biqiao Town. Things were far less complicated than we thought. Everything was arranged in an orderly manner. We had already communicated with him the location of the practice before departure. The General Chen Wen Memorial Hall is only a few hundred meters away from the township government, so you can walk there. The teacher who explained it was already waiting for our group of people to arrive at the memorial hall. The General Chen Wen Memorial Hall was renovated from the former Biqiao Middle School. The former site of the Fourth Military Depot of the New Fourth Army is also in Biqiao Middle School. Following the footsteps of the instructor, we began to recall the story of the Langxi Uprising and Xia Yuchu who were not afraid of power and fought against the reactionaries. A story about forces fighting to protect a land and water. After the visit, it was still early, so our practice team proposed to visit the retired old party members. We wanted to personally hear from them the stories of the era of reform and innovation when everything was in vain, so we met Mr. Xiong. Do something and shine, have a dream in your heart and light in your eyes. When Mr. Xiong talked about the changes in reform and opening up and what the party has done for the people over the years, Mr. Xiong's eyes seemed to light up. The story is not new. An old party member witnessed the changes in the past decades of reform and opening up, explained his feelings and insights over the years, and expressed his recognition of our practice team's cultural inheritance behavior. We have heard about it on the screen and in books, but the enthusiasm for the party’s cause in our eyes is unforgettable for each of us.

[endif] On the second day of the trip, we brought flowers and memorials to the Xia Yuchu Martyrs Cemetery. The cemetery is small, but it accommodates dozens of selfless souls from Biqiao Town. After several years of improvement, most of the tombs of revolutionary martyrs in Biqiao Town have been moved to the cemetery to facilitate people's worship and form the inheritance of revolutionary spiritual culture. The cemetery is located in Xiajia Village. After paying homage to the revolutionary martyrs, the person in charge of the village invited us to visit the village. Under the call of the country to promote the construction of new countryside, the village has a new scene. Children are laughing and old people are chatting, just like what is described in Peach Blossom Spring. Their yellow hair is hanging down and they are enjoying themselves. There is less traffic, but the murals on the walls tell us the stories of the revolutionary martyrs. The past is on the wall, and the present is under the wall. And when we look at the wall, we hope to contribute our share to building the future of our motherland. force.

Continuing forward as planned, our next stop was the former site of the Soviet government in Yaocun Township. It was slightly different from the information we were looking for. The original dilapidated bungalow was renovated and revitalized. meteorological. What comes into view in the hall is a huge party flag, and the air is filled with the smell of freshly painted tung oil, wrapping the charm of time in the original wood. Under the witness of the party flag, a group of us reviewed the oath of joining the party. . Then we went to the beautiful countryside to investigate the development situation, and the scenery of the Jiangnan water town was all in sight. To seek development and prosperity, Langxi County's pillar industry is tea gardens. Thousands of acres of yellow tea are sold at home and abroad, bringing vigorous development to the local economy. The magnificent landscape formed by thousands of acres of tea gardens brings a flow of people, which in turn drives the spread and development of red culture. This is the development path of Langxi’s red culture

On the third day, the last stop of the practice team was the Dafoshan Yangxin Valley Red Culture Memorial Hall. It is a red cultural tourist attraction with the memorial hall as the main body, including entertainment facilities, leisure places, and tea garden scenery. The curator of the memorial hall personally told the practice team members the origins and stories behind each cultural relic in the museum. Some cultural relics have been preserved after going through hardships, some have experienced major events in history, and some have expectations behind them. They are all displayed in the memorial hall, allowing more people to learn and feel everything. As the sun sets, we head back home. Back to the starting point, the difference is that the luggage is fully loaded.

When you set out, you will definitely return with a full load, and this is indeed the case for this social practice activity. If I were to ask about the meaning of social practice, on paper I would write about the core values ??of socialism. The faces I encountered in my short practice will be reflected in my mind.

[endif] Before departure, our team made a commemorative book about the basic cultural sites, historical figures, and traditional culture of Langxi County to give to the teachers we met during the practice. personnel. The explanation teacher at the General Chen Wen Memorial Hall in Biqiao Town and the Xia Yuchu Martyr Cemetery are the same. We call him Teacher Tang. He is a teacher with an elementary school education. He came across stories about Langxi’s red culture by chance, and began collecting and organizing them for more than ten years. Get to know the history behind each story.

Most of the information we used to make the souvenir book came from Baidu Encyclopedia and some local promotional materials, which contained some errors. On the first day of the trip, we gave the souvenir book to [if !vml]

[endif ] Take a souvenir with Teacher Tang. During the lunch break on the second day of the trip, Teacher Tang corrected the mistakes for us word by word at the dinner table. I think this is recognition of our practice and Teacher Tang’s serious and careful attitude. manifestation on the other hand. In addition, we were fortunate to receive a Biqiao Sanli Cultural Collection, which recorded a summary of interesting anecdotes and allusions about Biqiao's capable people and lofty ideals in history. The main authors include Teacher Tang and Mr. Xiong Guanglai. Although none of them have a high level of education, they all use their actions to tell us how to protect Biqiao's red culture. In recent years, Mr. Xiong Guanglai has given speeches in surrounding areas to spread the spirit of red culture. In the corner of his living room are piles of manuscripts of his speeches over the years. Those pieces of yellowed paper left imprints on the inheritance of the revolutionary spirit.

What impressed me deeply was the curator of the Yangxin Valley Red Culture Memorial Hall in Dafoshan. He was an entrepreneur and owned industries such as water plants, tea factories, and Yangxin Valley. The Red Culture Memorial Hall Each piece of the collection is collected from the countryside and from all over the country. He was lucky that many of the collections have appreciated in value since they were purchased, but I think these collections are also lucky to be protected in the memorial and the stories behind them can be known to people. At that time, there was a collection that he bought from an old man at a high price. Later, the value of the collection increased. The old man’s children thought that the price sold by the old man was unreasonable and wanted to redeem it at the original price. After negotiation, the collection remained in the museum. , the ownership belongs to the elderly. What the curator thinks about is not how many collections he has, but how to protect historical relics in his own way, out of interest and out of social responsibility. Not long ago, Hongxing Erke gained national recognition. Isn't it also because of the company's sense of responsibility to the nation?

From Biqiao Town to Yaocun Township, and from Yaocun Township to Taocheng Town, the three-day trip, accompanied by three Youth League Committee secretaries, enabled us to successfully complete this social practice task. I was surprised at how young the Youth League Committee secretaries were, in their twenties and forties, and their hard work rooted in the grassroots. When we proposed building Biqiao Town into a practice base, they came up with ideas. It makes us want to put this idea into practice even more so that we can live up to their trust in our practice team. I met many people along the way, including Mr. Xiong, Teacher Tang, the curator, the secretary, the inheritor of Yunwu... They all used their actions to practice the significance of inheriting traditional Chinese culture and inheriting red culture. The positions are different, the ages are different, and the occupations are different, but they are all on the road, and our mechanical engineering department went to Langxi County to explore the red culture of southern Anhui and the summer social practice team is also on the road.

I have been thinking about the chapter about youth excellence for a long time. I tried to find out from our actions what can show the excellence of our college students, and find out the highlights of our practice team like a competition. I opened the browser and searched for "College students' youthful excellence". There were many answers. College students should study hard, expand their interests, and strive to improve their abilities. Or college students should have their own dreams and should not follow others' opinions but have their own opinions. In fact, I have seen answers like this many times. I would like to know more about the insights this summer practice activity really brings to us, and how we express ourselves as college students in this activity. So I opened the browser and searched for "What kind of college students are not outstanding?" One word caught my attention - regret. There are some things that I could have done, but I missed the opportunity to do them because I was lazy or because I thought they were unimportant. After a few years, I looked at the rich experiences of other students and realized that I was not outstanding.

During the practical activities, we produced a commemorative book. We want to improve it so that the team that goes to Langxi County to investigate red culture can understand the story of Langxi County more quickly. We issued more than a dozen press releases, hoping that we could make our voices heard in promoting Langxi’s red culture. We want to build Biqiao Town into a practice base, and hope that more students from Hefei University of Technology can understand the stories behind Xia Yuchu and others. When we visit the elderly, we bring apples and bananas with us, bringing with us a sense of warmth from the college student practice team. When we go to pay homage, we offer a flower to each of the martyrs as a sign of respect and memory. We walked on the road with smiles, which is what we think young college students should look like. What we do may be ordinary, but for us, it is a limited opportunity to experience it all in the university. We work hard to learn to communicate and cooperate. We will not regret what we do. I think this is who we are. Excellent place.
