Do enterprises without pollution need to do EIA?

Enterprises without pollution also need to go through EIA procedures in accordance with the requirements of national laws. However, according to the degree of environmental impact of the project, the EIA procedures are also different. The simplest is the registration form, followed by the EIA report form and then the EIA report.

Nineteenth development and utilization planning without environmental impact assessment according to law, shall not be organized and implemented; Construction projects without environmental impact assessment according to law shall not be started.

"Regulations on Environmental Protection Management of Construction Projects" stipulates that:

Article 6 The State practices the environmental impact assessment system for construction projects.

Article 7 The State shall, according to the degree of environmental impact of construction projects, implement classified management of environmental protection of construction projects in accordance with the following provisions:

(1) If a construction project may have a significant impact on the environment, an environmental impact report shall be prepared to make a comprehensive and detailed evaluation of the pollution caused by the construction project and its impact on the environment;

(two) if the construction project may have a slight impact on the environment, it shall prepare an environmental impact report form to analyze or make a special evaluation of the pollution and impact caused by the construction project on the environment;

(three) the construction project has little impact on the environment, and it is not necessary to carry out environmental impact assessment, and the environmental impact registration form shall be filled in.
