Improvement of traditional fishery

The terms "traditional fishing" and "hanging fishing" were named after the resolution of1National Fishing Theory Seminar held in Hangzhou in May, 1997. At that time, the "two major factions" were in a fierce "war of words" confrontation.

Traditional fishing in a broad sense is not a special fishing method, and there is no special traditional fishing group. It is the sum total of fishing methods widely used by people for a long time. The traditional fishing method is put forward to distinguish it from a new competitive fishing method which takes high-density fish as fishing object, compound concentrate as bait, high-speed fishing with high-precision fishing group and competition as the main purpose. Competitive fishing method comes from traditional fishing method, which is an improvement and promotion of traditional fishing method.

The traditional fishing method in a narrow sense refers to the old-fashioned "hook fishing method"

"Sleeping hook fishing" and "vertical hook fishing" are commonly called "traditional hand fishing", while "new traditional hand fishing" should be named "new traditional hand fishing".

The reason "new traditional hand fishing" is based on three fishing methods: morning hook, sleeping hook and vertical hook. After independent innovation, it was endowed with new materials, new equipment and new skills. On the premise of maintaining the basic fishing principle, the new traditional hand-fishing is brand-new, the information of the times is richer, and it is closer to hanging fishing (Taiwan fishing).
