The first wood carving theme movie "craftsmanship

The movie "Craftsmanship" is adapted from Tang Shiqi's original book, based on the story of Wu Tengfei, the master of Chinese wood carving art, and set in the Qing Hanlin in Dongyang, Zhejiang Province, the hometown of wood carving. In 120 minutes, the movie tells the audience the story of Lu Xi, a young designer who returns to his hometown of woodcarving by chance to revive the love between his grandchildren and the spirit of craftsmanship. In a woodcarving town far from the bustling metropolis, traditional Chinese craftsmanship is still being passed down from generation to generation. Young designer Lu Xi and Taiwanese businessman Fang Hanbing return to their hometown Woodcarving Town by mistake for an architectural restoration program, where they regain the love of their grandchildren and find the spirit of craftsmanship that young people in today's society are missing.

2019.4.22The grand premiere of "Craftsmanship", China's first literary film on the subject of woodcarving, was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The prototype character of the movie, Wu Tengfei, a Chinese wood carving art master from Dongyang and the founder of Zhejiang Daqing Hanlin Classical Art Furniture Brand, attended the premiere ceremony together with the cast and crew of the movie.

2019.4The Leading Group of Talent Work of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee announced the second batch of Zhejiang Provincial Ten Thousand People Plan ("Zhejiang Provincial High-level Talent Special Support Program") list of selected personnel, Chinese wood carving art master, Wu Tengfei, chairman of Daqing Hanlin, was on the list. 2015.9 In 2015 China Furniture Design Golden Dot Award Ceremony, the work "Nine Palace Grid" designed by Master Wu Tengfei won the 2015 China Furniture Inheritance Design Golden Dot Award, which is also the only traditional furniture work that won this honor in the current Shanghai International Furniture Exhibition.
