Japanese Wushu types
1, karate. It is formed by the combination of Japanese traditional fighting skills and Ryukyu Wushu Tang players, and originated from Japanese Wushu and Ryukyu Tang players. Tang hand was introduced to Ryukyu from China martial arts and developed with local martial arts Ryukyu hand, while Japanese natives combined wrestling and throwing techniques from Kyushu and Honshu with Tang hand, and finally formed karate. After the second world war, it was widely spread around the world through the propaganda of the US military.
2. Judo. It is a kind of fighting skill mainly based on wrestling and ground skills. Japan is known as the "judo country". Judo is a unique subject in Japanese Wushu, which evolved from jujitsu. Judo originated in part from the hand-to-hand combat technique of ancient Japanese samurai: jujitsu. Judo is the only event in the Olympic Games that allows choking or twisting joints to subdue opponents.
3. Aikido. It is a defensive and counterattack martial art that uses the kinetic energy of attackers, manipulates energy and prefers technical control, so Aikido does not advocate active attack; It originated from the modern martial art of Aikido Jiu Jitsu in Daido, Japan, and its main characteristics are "combining rigidity with softness" and "defensive counterattack". At present, the so-called Aikido is divided into two schools, Japan and South Korea, and there are some differences under their respective development.
4. Sumo. Japanese traditional culture. It is similar to wrestling in China, but it is not a sport. Originated in China, it was called Jiao Di in Qin and Han Dynasties, and it was called Sumo from the Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Southern Song Dynasty. Now it is a popular Japanese wrestling sport.
5. kendo. It is a traditional competitive instrument of Wushu. Players fight one-on-one Both sides wear kendo clothes, protective gear and hold bamboo swords. According to the rules, they hit the effective part of each other, and the referee counts the scores to judge the outcome. Team competitions can also be held, and the total score can be calculated after the two sides of the same number of teams decide the outcome one by one.
