I wrote this book first because I was inspired by an old American professor, who was very young and childlike. Although the professor is old, he ventured to many ethnic minority areas in southwest China, which enabled the author to have a new understanding of the motherland and to think and pursue China culture.

Secondly, it should be the author's comfort to himself and society. The author is eager to emancipate his mind during the journey and make contributions to China culture. Therefore, Yu resolutely resigned from his post at the age of no doubt, walked out of his study and began a cultural journey.
