Are the old English teaching methods out of date?

It can't be said that it is out of date, which is in line with exam-oriented education to some extent.

The two most common teaching methods in English learning are traditional learning method and situational interaction method.

The former emphasizes mechanical memory and a lot of repetition, and there are a lot of sentence pattern grammar exercises, which require reading textbooks aloud and rote memorization.

The latter attaches importance to application. Encourage students to interact in English, giving consideration to listening, speaking, reading and writing.

There used to be many traditional learning methods, but now it emphasizes situational interaction, but it cannot be denied that the past teaching methods are also in line with the current exam-oriented education.
