Brief introduction of modern biathlon

Biathlon is a competition that combines two completely different events, namely cross-country skiing and shooting. Competitors ski with rifles on their backs and shoot at the designated shooting position every time they finish a certain distance.

There are two shooting postures in shooting, one is horizontal shooting and the other is vertical shooting. The final ranking is determined according to the sliding time and the accuracy of shooting. Biathlon is divided into individual, short distance, relay, chase, group departure and other events.

Modern biathlon has a long history, which originated in Scandinavia and evolved from ancient skiing and hunting.
