Renewal of Thought

Reinventing the mind is a painful process that involves breaking down old thought structures and reconstructing new ones in order to improve oneself.

It's easy to say, but hard to do, because until you get to the point where you need to innovate, everything seems to go your way, and when you get to the point where you're limited, you tend to be complacent with what you've already accomplished.

I love the story of the frog at the bottom of the well. The frog at the bottom of the well never thought there was such a thing as a sky bigger than the mouth of the well, and throughout his life, "sky = mouth of the well" was a self-evident proposition. But we know that this is often not the case, and that greatness is integrated into life, becomes routine, and therefore unnoticeable, and therefore unclear.

It is like the atheistic ideology that we have been brought up with, which, while perhaps not problematic in itself, will always unknowingly narrow one's mind, making one think only one-sidedly without seeing what is true about religion, about faith. In order to realize the essence of the problem in a comprehensive manner or as comprehensively as possible, we have to admit the rationality of religion, and even temporarily abandon the argument of "no god" from certain specific perspectives. Otherwise, it will be reduced to a condescending criticism, and an itchy request.

In addition to this, there are many other things that need to be discovered and pondered over, and life is a book that needs to be studied for the rest of one's life, but we often choose to ignore it.

In middle school I was also a good writer, from the beginning of the contact with the composition of the time I vaguely aware of how to write those who do not bother and can be pleasing to the eyes of the composition. Junior high school essays are the best to write, just need to find a center, and then all the body and mind into the big blow, in the use of a little skill is enough to achieve a model essay. High school essays are slightly more difficult to write, but it's not a big deal. The first thing you need to do is to start from that point, and extend it up and down, refine it and then arrange the length of it, and you can get your hands on 55 points or so.

The real need for a little brain is the elementary school essay, because the most basic skills have not yet learned, need a little bit of time to learn. But there are still available routines, is a little, as long as the writing is not like a child on the line. For example, children often hear the adults' nonsense, regardless of whether they understand it or not, write it in, it is already half of the success. And don't forget to add "It's really helpful" at the end (laughs).

But now I can't write like that anymore, because when I'm writing, I always think about whether there's more to be said. Is it a waste of the meaning of these words and objects? The more I try to understand, the harder it is to write this kind of "absolutely correct" essay. Or, when your article is "absolutely right", it means that there is no need to chew.

Back to the idea of innovation. Some time ago, I saw the poets discussing in the group, and realized that China's undergraduate rate is so low, only a little more than 4%. The "college students suck" argument that has been advocated over the years seems to be very questionable. When I went to the military draft, I found that most of the young people were specialists, or even junior colleges, and there seemed to be very few regular undergraduates, let alone those with a heavy degree or higher. Just to make a guess, perhaps the original college students were too few, and now the popularization of higher education has led to a big increase in the number of college students all of a sudden, which is why it seems as if there are more college students as if they were cattle. But the increase in attention does not mean that the absolute number of size.

A huge China, only four point more than a percent of undergraduate education, and even this 4% of the people, there are still a very small part of the people who can really deserve the title of college students, on this basis, can do to constantly innovate the idea of the seemingly a little less. "The way of the university, in the bright moral, in the pro-people, in the stop to the best", not to mention the best, just bright moral here, and how many people?

Not that there is prejudice against groups who did not go to college, there are still a lot of talented people who did not go to college. But if it is precisely because they are talents, so doomed to the scarcity of this part of the people. And even within these talents, who can acquire a worldview that is at least relatively rational and comprehensive?

And this part of the people in the university, every day in such an environment inculcated still can not do the basic self-renewal, not to mention that we enter the community, began to work, not to mention that the mind to break the stereotypes of the structure of thought.

I often feel like I'm walking in a cultural desert, and I can't see a speck of green in the white space. The people who live in the desert silently never know that water is free to enjoy. I, and many of my friends, will one day be plunged into this desert, never to be seen again. This day will not be long, it is in the sky not far from the head.
