Taiwan Province Province usually eats hot pot on Lunar New Year's Eve. There are seven kinds of hot pot materials, namely celery, garlic, onion, leek, fish and meat, which respectively represent "diligence, numeracy, intelligence, popularity, long-term happiness and redundancy".
