Before the renovation began, I booked a full set of furniture in advance, and then I designed and transformed it according to the actual furniture size, fully integrating my life experience and habits into the design. Third, material selection.

Tiles, wooden doors, floors, cabinets, ceilings, wallpapers, furniture, bathroom supplies, etc. This is the main material, mostly ordered through the local building materials group purchase meeting. The size of this big table is 2.4 meters by 1.2 meters, which is customized. Anyone who comes to my house to see it is full of praise for this oversized table. The machines in the factory can only be 2 meters long at most. At first, we were told that we couldn't do it. Later, through the instructions of the general manager, it was finally made. There are two round holes in the middle of the desktop, which are used to walk the power cord of notebook computer and desk lamp.

2, sofa wall hanging

Hanging on the sofa wall is the so-called "North Korean oil painting", which was auctioned on Taobao for more than 3,000 yuan. The dining room lamp is antique solid wood. Finally, I decided to use it, and many brain cells died, because the top of the buckle plate was empty, about 15 cm away from the top, and the bearing problem should be considered. 5. Drinking water equipment

The skirting line of the floor should be installed as far as possible after the furniture comes into play, so that the back of some furniture can be attached to the wall, and there is no need to install the skirting line below, which is both beautiful and saves space and cost.

1, kitchen door

I think it's best to use folding doors in the small kitchen, which can make full use of the space. If you use a sliding door, the space on both sides of the door will not be used.

2. Cabinets and range hoods

The kitchen needs as many countertops as possible. I made a circle of cabinets, all made by carpenters on the spot. The door panel is a cheap crystal steel plate, but it is actually tempered glass. Dirty is easy to wipe, but it doesn't match the style of pine. The kitchen specially left a set of cabinets without doors, which is more convenient to use. The kitchen is both practical and beautiful.

4. Selection of cabinet countertops

Never use brushed stainless steel countertops. The water on the brushed stainless steel countertop will leave water stains. The water on the 304 embossed stainless steel countertop left tiny water drops, similar to those on the lotus leaf. Wipe it gently with an absorbent towel, and the countertop will be clean, and it will still be like this after half a year. I think the reason for not hanging water may also be related to the specific fine patterns on the surface, and of course it is also related to the 304 material.

I don't recommend using marble, microcrystalline stone and the like. Although beautiful, the countertop will be greasy, difficult to clean and may crack if used for a long time.

The countertop of my home is a local factory found on Taobao. Adopt real 304 stainless steel embossing and thickening treatment. There are a lot of fake 304 in the market, which is difficult to distinguish.

5. Two sets of bowls and baskets

This double-layer drainage bowl basket installed in the corner near the sink does not occupy the countertop, which is the most satisfactory in my kitchen. Taobao is not easy to find, because it should be small in size, can be hung on the wall, welded together, made of stainless steel, with proper spacing between dishes and reasonable structure. For example, if you want to use an 80 cm bowl basket, the width of the cabinet space should be 80-3.6=76.4 cm. At that time, the width of the cabinet at home was wrong, and it was a waste of space to fill three boards in it. If it is a finished product cabinet, you don't have to worry about this problem. They are more professional.

6. Integrated ceiling

Don't buy ceiling blocks with concave and convex patterns on the integrated ceiling surface of kitchen and bathroom, which will bring trouble to future maintenance. For example, if the lamp is broken, it is necessary to take down the adjacent ceiling blocks first. I use the sucker hook sold in the supermarket, and use the sucker on the back to suck the corner and pull it down. If it's uneven, it won't suck. The balcony has an electric water storage tank, but because it is too far from the bathroom, there will be a long section of cold water in the middle pipeline, which will waste a lot of water and time in winter, so I installed an electric water heater in the bathroom. However, it must be noted that these two water heaters are connected in series, that is, the balcony solar energy is connected to the water of the bathroom electric water heater, and the balcony solar energy is not connected to the power supply, but only connected to the bathroom electric water heater, which saves electricity, water and time.

5, smart toilet

The following is the integrated smart toilet of domestic brands. To tell the truth, it is much worse than the toilet seat in Japan. No wonder China people go to Japan to snap up. Domestic products are just bragging, and there are still some problems to be improved in water outlet speed, water outlet pressure adjustment, back and forth movement, hydraulic massage, splash and so on. Try not to buy an integrated smart toilet. If it doesn't work well, the whole toilet will have to be replaced. It's too expensive. Don't buy decorative bricks, saying that they are too expensive is actually a mess, because when all kinds of wall hangings in your bathroom and kitchen are in place, you will find those flowers are redundant. It looks good in the exhibition hall of the merchants, because they don't have kitchen and bathroom equipment and pendants. Don't be fooled!

After the tiles are pasted, the joints between tiles are generally about 2mm, which is ugly and easy to get dirty with ordinary caulking agent. I used the sewing agent of Caijin, and spent several hundred yuan on Taobao to buy materials and make them myself. First, stick the masking paper (that is, the paper tape for carpentry) on the wall, leaving a seam coated with masking agent. This job is labor-intensive, and it took several days for two bathrooms to light the walls. Later, it was too much trouble. The floor was not done and the kitchen wall was not done. But the effect after doing it well is indeed to reduce leverage. It is high in an instant, and there is wood. If the living room floor is ceramic tile, be sure to use caulking agent.

9. Floor drain pipe

Don't choose a copper panel for the water-sealed floor drain in the bathroom, it will produce copper rust and look ugly. Don't choose the copper sleeve inside, you won't get it out if it rusts with each other. Don't choose a plastic sleeve, the water seal will dry quickly. It is best to use all stainless steel, and 304 material is better.

1, super practical folding seat

Below is the folding wall chair at the entrance, where you can sit and change shoes. The same wall chair is installed on the wall of the bathroom shower area, so you can sit in it and take a shower, which is not tiring and safe. Remember to mark the size and take photos on the wall after the hydropower transformation, so as to avoid punching through water pipes or circuits when installing pendants on the wall later.
