How to read the house orientation

There are two general terms for house orientation.

The first:

Refers to the place where the light surface is the largest, small houses in the Chinese countryside are usually the largest light surface of the main door, and in the buildings in the city, usually the main balcony is the largest light surface of each unit.

Second:

The orientation is relative to the house's seat direction, which is a Chinese I Ching feng shui saying. For example: if the house seat direction is north, then its facing direction is south.
