Which are the Seven Colors of Foshan Autumn Colors

The traditional autumn colors of Foshan include seven colors - lights, cars, horses, floats, land, water and scenery.

The Foshan Autumn Colors, which integrates arts and crafts, drama, music, dance and acrobatics, is a traditional custom of the Foshan people to celebrate the harvest in autumn, with a history of more than 600 years, and was listed on the national intangible cultural heritage list in 2008, with a variety of manifestations. Since 2009, the Foshan Autumn Colors Parade has been set as a yearly event to be held in the golden autumn season every year.

Since 2016 under the support of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Foshan Autumn Colors Folklore Activity and Guangdong (Foshan) Intangible Cultural Heritage Week have combined to hold a series of activities such as displaying intangible cultural heritage projects and dialoguing with the inheritors, which have highlighted the traditional cultural charm of the Lingnan and showcased the glory of Guangdong's folk art.

The Foshan Autumn Colors is a national intangible cultural heritage project. Since 2010, Foshan has been organizing grand folk cultural activities in the golden autumn season every year under the name of "Autumn Colors", which has been successfully held for 10 times so far, and has gained great attention from Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao, and overseas Chinese and foreigners. Foshan promotes and publicizes the city cultural image of Guangdong and Foshan to the whole country and even the world through rich performances.
