The Social Impact of Basic Chinese Culture Teaching Materials

The introduction of these teaching materials by the mainland's China Bookstore is intended to provide a new model for teaching traditional culture at the high school level, with the expectation that by guiding students to learn and pass on the Chinese nation's outstanding traditional culture, they will grow up to become modern Chinese people with a sense of national sentiment and a global perspective.

The China Bookstore will work with a number of nationally renowned high schools, including Beijing No. 4 Middle School, Hengshui Middle School, Hefei No. 1 Middle School, Wuhan No. 4 Middle School, and South China Normal University High School, etc., to *** build a teaching and research base of traditional Chinese culture (high school), and will gradually establish a service system of traditional Chinese culture education for primary and middle schools across the country. The set of teaching materials introduced by the China Bookstore will also be first used in these high schools on a pilot basis.
