A Brief Introduction to the Characteristics of China National Orchestra

The combination principle and scale of national orchestras are different from traditional silk and bamboo bands and percussion bands.

The scale of national orchestras is relatively large, generally more than 30 or 40 people: they are composed of four groups of instruments: blowing, playing, playing and pulling. In the creation of national orchestral music, the author always makes full use of composing techniques such as harmony, polyphony, texture, orchestration, etc., and presents music extensively and at multiple levels, profoundly revealing people's thoughts, feelings, psychological states and life experiences.

From the initial construction and development of the national orchestra, the performance ability of the symphony orchestra has always been pursued. On the basis of various traditional national orchestras in China and drawing lessons from the combination principles and compilation of western orchestras, it was gradually formed through continuous experiments and improvements. Although the establishment of China's national orchestras is basically the same at present, it is still in the development stage, which needs continuous efforts and multi-program experiments to gradually improve it.
