Schematic diagram of lever of water dispenser

(1) In the figure, the large water tank is connected with the lower end of the drinking cup to form a communicator, and the principle of the communicator is applied;

When the liquid in the communication equipment does not flow, the liquid level in each container is always horizontal. When livestock drink water, the water level in the drinking cup drops, and so does the water level in the large water tank. The float (floated by water) will move downward under the action of gravity, and the rod connected with the float forms a labor-saving lever. When the lever descends, the nozzle of the water inlet pipe opens and water flows down to ensure that the water level in the water tank and drinking cup remains constant. Apply the principle of lever balance.

(2) If the original floating ball is replaced by a smaller floating ball, when the water level rises to the original water level, according to Archimedes' principle, the buoyancy of the floating ball becomes smaller, and the water in the water inlet pipe will still flow out because of the smaller buoyancy, and the water level in the drinking water tank will also rise a little, so that the water inlet pipe can be closed by turning the lever with greater buoyancy.

So the answer is: (1) connector; Lever balance principle; (2) increase.
