Giant pandas and details
In the long-term harsh competition for survival and natural selection, the giant panda is a strong one and has been preserved as a "living fossil" to this day.
1, habitat
Giant pandas live in the high mountains and deep valleys in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in China, which is the windward side of the southeast monsoon. The climate is warm, cool and humid, and its humidity is often above 80%. They are wet animals.
Giant pandas are distributed in Minshan, Qionglai, Liangshan, Daxiangling, Xiaoxiangling and Qinling, spanning 45 counties (cities) in Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces, with a habitat area of more than 20,000 square kilometers and a population of about 1600, of which more than 80% are distributed in Sichuan.
2. Living habits
Giant pandas spend half their eating time every day, and most of the rest time in sleep. In the wild, giant pandas sleep for 2-4 hours between meals. Lying flat, lying on the side, prone, stretching or curling are their favorite sleep styles.
3. Distribution range
Wild pandas live in dense forests. When they grow to a certain stage, they must mate and have children, that is, estrus, courtship, mating, pregnancy and childbirth. Pandas usually live alone, but in the breeding season, males and females attract each other and start various courtship activities in the dense bamboo forest.

Discovery of giant pandas:
1869, the Frenchman armand David (also known as armand David) discovered the giant panda in Baoxing, Ya 'an (then called Mu Ping). Soon, the giant panda specimen was brought back to France, which shocked the international biological community.
More than a century later, on June 9, 2003, 10, the People's Government of Baoxing County, Ya 'an City signed an agreement with Esprit, David's hometown in the French Pyrenees, to jointly build the "David Memorial Hall".
Since then, Baoxing County has made a 2.7-meter-high white marble statue for David to commemorate the Frenchman who introduced the China Giant Panda overseas.
