Baizhangling Battle Site is a classic scenic spot of red tourism.

Baizhangling Battle Site is located at the junction of Dayang Village in Hanjiang District, Putian City and Xialing Village in Dong Zhang Town, Fuqing City.

1On July 28th, 949, the Kuomintang army organized "clearing" the ocean in an attempt to annihilate the headquarters of the central Fujian detachment. After receiving the information, the leaders of the central Fujian detachment headquarters and the leaders of the PLA advance team jointly determined the anti-"clean-up" operation plan, and determined that the guerrillas 1 squadron cooperated with the PLA 1 squadron to guard Baizhangling and prevent the enemy from invading from the east; Two guerrilla detachments cooperated with the People's Liberation Army 1 squad to hold the Nanling of the Beiyang barrier so that the enemy could not cross it and ensure the safety of the rear; Guerrillas 1 and PLA 1 set out on 18 to stop the enemy from invading Xianyou in the west. Guerrilla 1 Squadron and PLA 1 platoon crouched in Hangzhongling, facing the Putian enemy who was attacking head-on. The working group of the Central Fujian Working Committee cooperates with the Dayang District Committee to organize the masses to do a good job in transfer and logistics support. On July 29th, the campaign against "Qing dynasty" started. The advance team of the People's Liberation Army and guerrillas repelled many attacks by Fuqing 1000 traffic police and self-defense forces in Baizhangling. In Nanling and Shibatou highlands, intercept the enemy of Yongtai and Xianyou squadrons to ensure the safety of both sides and rear of the detachment headquarters.

The former site of Baizhangling is a commanding height on the mountain road from Fuqing to Dayang.
