Material selection characteristics of Shengzhou bamboo weaving
Shengzhou bamboo weaving technology is ingenious, usually based on all kinds of tough and tall bamboos, such as Phyllostachys pubescens, which are tough and not easy to crack and have good fracture properties, and are generally used as product skeletons; Early bamboo has strong tensile force, which is suitable for chopping into fine bamboo shreds and can be bleached and dyed. However, bamboo joints are brittle and easy to crack, which are mostly used in middle and low-grade products.
Bamboo fiber is tight and slender, fine in texture, thick in lines, soft and firm, and pure in color. It is an excellent material for weaving natural products. Hedgerow bamboo, also known as Qingtian bamboo, is tough and elastic, and can also be split into filaments, which is suitable for weaving fine products.
