What's the difference between traditional surgery and minimally invasive surgery?

Minimally invasive surgery, as its name implies, is minimally invasive surgery. Refers to the use of modern medical equipment and related equipment such as laparoscopy and thoracoscopy. The concept of minimally invasive is formed because of the progress of the whole medical model, which is promoted by the concept of "holistic" treatment. Third, rapid recovery: it greatly reduces the damage to organs and the interference to organ functions, and shortens the recovery time after surgery.

Fourth, the hospitalization time is short: under normal circumstances, you can get out of bed 6-8 hours after operation, take food after anal exhaust 12-24 hours, and leave the hospital in 3-5 days, and basically recover after one week, with relatively low cost.

Five defects of traditional surgery:

First, the wound is large: the traditional long incision is ≥250px, and the scar is long, which affects the appearance.

Second, the pain is great: traditional surgery requires laparotomy, and the postoperative incision site is often accompanied by pain, soreness and numbness.

Third, slow recovery: the traditional surgical incision is large, which will cause damage to muscles, blood vessels and corresponding nerves near the incision, and may be accompanied by some complications of tissue infection, so the patient's recovery speed is slow.

Fourth, the length of hospitalization: getting out of bed 24 hours after operation and leaving the hospital in 7- 15 days is relatively expensive.

Fifth, more bleeding: traditional surgery has a wide range of tissues and a large amount of bleeding. Incision infection, fat liquefaction and incision dehiscence in traditional surgery have always been unavoidable problems.
