What are the components of the drive system of a pure electric vehicle?

Electric vehicles are composed of four parts: power battery, chassis, body and electrical appliances. The power battery, as an important part of the electric vehicle, is divided into four main parts: battery module, battery management system, thermal management system, electrical and mechanical systems. The chassis consists of four parts: the drive motor and control system, the driving system, the steering system and the braking and energy recovery system.

The composition of the pure electric vehicle drive system is shown in Figure 7, which is mainly composed of the central control unit, drive controller, drive motor, mechanical transmission device and so on. In order to adapt to the driver's traditional maneuvering habits, pure electric vehicles still retain the accelerator pedal, brake pedal and related manipulation handles or buttons. However, in electric vehicles, the mechanical displacement of the accelerator pedal and brake pedal is converted into corresponding electrical signals and input to the central control unit to control the vehicle's movement. For the gear shifter, in order to follow the traditional habits of drivers, generally still need to be retained, the same in addition to the traditional drive mode, there are only three gears forward, neutral, reverse, and switching signals transmitted to the central control unit to the car forward, stop, reverse control.
