Zhang Jilou, male, born in Yixing, Jiangsu Province in 1926, Han nationality, college degree, first-class professional title in literary creation, member of the Communist Party of China.

He began publishing novels and essays before liberation. After participating in the revolution, due to work needs, he learned folk art creation from folk artists and published and compiled more than ten librettos (including traditional cross talk).

He later engaged in the creation of children's literature and published more than 20 collections of children's literature (including children's songs, children's poems, folk stories, etc.). He has edited more than 30 kinds of children's literature books, and 20 of his works have won awards in the awards for outstanding children's literature creations in national and provincial (municipal) newspapers and periodicals (1 national first prize and 2 third prizes).
