Who invented Manning Chess?
Wanning Xiangqi is a board game popular in Wanning City, Hainan Island, China, and is a variant of Chinese chess. Its chess set consists of 9x8 squares, with 16 pieces on the red side and 16 pieces on the black side. The pieces on the red side are stone pigs, stone ants, stone rabbits, stone dogs, stone lions, stone elephants, stone horses and stone soldiers. Black's pieces are stone pig, stone ant, stone rabbit, stone dog, stone lion, stone bishop, stone horse and stone soldier.
