After arriving in Beijing, I was arranged to stay at the "Guangming Hotel" along the Xihe River in Qianmen, which may be considered the first guest house of the Air Force. The hotel has long been filled with cadres from all over the country who have been transferred to the Air Force. There are a lot of war years I am familiar with the old comrades, such as tank division commander Xingguo old cousin Zeng Kelin, an army division commander Wang Xueqing, deputy division commander Yao Ke and so on. In the hotel we, old comrades who have been reunited for a long time, gathered together, waiting for the allocation of work, while discussing the old and the future.

I spent the first "May Day" International Labor Day in Beijing after the founding of New China, and then went to the fifth aviation school in Jinan, Shandong Province to take up his duties.

The principal of the school was Mr. Fang Ziyi, the political commissar was Mr. Wang Shaoyuan, I was the chief of staff, and the director of the political department was Mr. Equuschick. The advisor to the principal was Durov of the USSR, and the staff advisor was Marinov of the USSR.

When I first arrived at the flight school, I worked hard with my work ethic and strong body.
