Introduction of Luhuitou Scenic Area

Luhuitou is a small peninsula obliquely inserted in the middle of Wang Yang, which is in the west of Sanya 10.

The east is separated from Yulin Port by a mountain; Sanya port is adjacent to the west, surrounded by coral reefs, facing the sea in front, backed by mountains and surrounded by water, which is quite elegant.

There are two versions of the name of Sanya Luhuitou. First, it is said that this mountain range came from the northeast and ran to Haike Terminal Mountain, but it turned west. The mountain is shaped like a golden deer, hence its name.

In fact, this mountain is a peninsula formed by the continuous accumulation of sand by waves for hundreds of millions of years, which connects it with the land in the north and is geographically called Lulian Island. Second, it is a beautiful and moving story, full of myth, reflecting the simple mentality of this resident living in the south corner of the heat island.

The legend of the deer turning back:

According to legend, a long time ago, a brave and hardworking Li youth hunted in Wuzhishan and found that a fairy who came to the world without thinking about worldly affairs turned into a beautiful sika deer. The young hunter chased Kuya for nine days, climbed 99 mountains and chased the coral reef in Sanya Bay from Wuzhishan.

The vast sea blocked the deer's way. When the young hunter drew his bow and arrow, he suddenly became a beautiful Li girl and stared at her affectionately. The young hunter was overjoyed at the sudden change and put down his bow and arrow to show his love.

So they got married, crossed the thorns here, set up a fireplace and settled down. Since then, they have been fishing, farming, weaving, having children and living a happy life. Later, in order to commemorate their love, people named this place: Luhuitou.
