This is because when shooting an arrow, the arrow will sway left and right when flying because of the friction between the finger and the bowstring. If the node of the arrow is not in a straight line with the bull's-eye, it will miss the target.

First, the correct archery method When everyone shoots an arrow, most people just pick up the arrow and aim it at the bull's-eye. However, when archery, the extension line in the direction pointed by the arrow will not reach the target, and this shooting method with the arrow pointing to the bull's eye will not hit the target. First of all, when we pull the bow, all fingers are pulling the bowstring except the thumb of the right hand, so the arrow should be placed on the left side of the bow; If you only use your right thumb to pull the bowstring, then the arrow must be placed on the right side of the bow, which is the correct way to release the arrow. And the arrow must not be aimed at the target.

Second, when archery, the arrow can't aim at the target. Why can't it aim at the target? Because if you shoot with a traditional bow, experienced archers know that the target should not be an arrow, but a node generated by the arrow. When an arrow is shot out, it will vibrate left and right when flying in the air, but only the two nodes on the arrow will not vibrate. As long as the connection between two nodes and the target is straight, they can hit the target, otherwise they will not hit the target. Then why does the arrow swing from side to side? This is because when shooting an arrow, the hand is released, because the finger friction makes the string bounce to the left, then the arrow will turn to the right; When the string returns to its original position, it will make the arrow move to the left and then sway left and right in the air.

When everyone shoots an arrow, when our fingers are released, because of the friction between the fingers and the bowstring, the arrow and the arrow will bypass the bow handle, and because of the string, the arrow will swing from side to side when flying. But the two knots at the top of the arrow will not shake. As long as the knot is connected to the target, it can hit the target.
