Why do you practice archery? What is the idea that keeps you going?

Opening the bow is a kind of examination, a process of opening oneself and looking inward. Until I was an adult, I couldn't understand why an old man in his seventies and eighties would say such difficult things to his children every time he recalled it. Now I practice bow, and every time I am in the depressed arrow hall, I open my bow again and again. Up and down, up and down, up and down, up and down ... I seem to feel the sadness of the old man about this skill that no one has passed down. Another atmosphere of archery club: competition. In the Dojo Hall, there are competitions between our members and between schools. As a member of the club, I naturally hope to practice hard, participate in the competition and win the competition. However, I am not a person who is particularly willing to participate in the competition. Actually, I prefer to enjoy practicing archery. I didn't go to the aisle venues to understand the culture of the Dojo, but I think it is also a kind of "Tao" if I can get some non-bow-opening feelings in the process of opening the bow.
