Middle East headdress differences

There are some differences in headdresses in the Middle East, mainly in materials, colors, patterns and uses.

1. Men in UAE usually wear Ghutrah, which is a traditional male headscarf. It is characterized by lightness and softness, slightly thinner than other fabrics, and is usually made of square cotton towels folded into triangles and fixed with Agal (a kind of rope). Agal used to be a tool used by men to tie camel's feet together at night.

2. In the Gulf of Saudi Arabia in the Middle East, people mainly use red and white cloth and blue headscarves. This kind of headscarf is usually wrapped around the head for protection and decoration.

3. There are also some obvious signs in the distinction of identity. For example, the flower head cloth represents royalty and nobility, and the bald head cloth represents commoners.

Generally speaking, headdresses in the Middle East are different in design and materials due to different regions and cultures.
