Disadvantages of traditional ordering (e.g. fax, phone ordering, etc.)?

The disadvantages of a traditional fax machine are, waste of consumables, slow sending time, faxes are not clear enough. The advantage is that the cost is low. Traditional procurement procurement costs are very low, while the supply chain procurement in the supplier selection, management supplier channel construction, system setup need to spend a lot of procurement costs.
