EV(ElectricVehicle) is the abbreviation of electric vehicle. HEV is a compromise between traditional cars and all-electric cars: it uses the internal combustion engine of traditional cars (which can be designed smaller) and the motor (PMSM or asynchronous motor) of pure electric cars for hybrid drive (including batteries and inverters), which reduces the demand for fossil fuels and improves fuel economy, thus achieving the effects of energy saving, emission reduction and mitigation of greenhouse effect.
