Huangshan hairy tofu

Bagongshan Tofu Soup
Bagongshan belongs to Huainan City in Anhui Province, and Bagongshan Tofu is a famous local dish. During the Western Han Dynasty, it is said that Liu An, the king of Huainan, sent someone to make elixir of immortality with spring water, soybean and salt brine under the Bakong Mountain, and during the process of making the elixir, he accidentally dropped gypsum into the alchemy container, and the result was that the elixir was not obtained, but he accidentally invented tofu, which was later called "Bakong Mountain Tofu". Bakong Mountain Tofu is made from soybeans from the Bakong Mountain area and spring water from the Bakong Mountain. It is made through the process of selecting ingredients, soaking, grinding and separating, boiling and coagulating. The Bakong Mountain Tofu is not only tender and delicious, but also rich in calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium and various trace elements needed by the human body. In 2008 and 2014, Bakong Mountain Tofu was awarded the best geographical indication product and selected as one of the fourth batch of intangible cultural heritage products.
Feixi Hen Soup
Feixi Old Hen Soup is a traditional classic dish in Hefei, Anhui Province. According to legend, when Liu Bang was not yet the emperor, he often ate at his brother's and sister-in-law's house. One spring, when vegetables were hard to find, his sister-in-law killed the only hen in the house, and Liu Bang was very touched. Liu Bang's sister-in-law rushed to Hefei Xixiang and personally stewed a pot of old hen soup for Liu Bang to taste. Liu Bang drank the chicken soup and exclaimed, "Good soup! Good soup! From Feidong to Feixi, it's delicious or old hen." At this time, he remembered his sister-in-law's kindness of killing the old hen to entertain him, and also understood his sister-in-law's intention of sending the chicken soup, so he appointed his sister-in-law's son, Liu Xin, as the Marquis of Juanjie on the spot.
Taihe plate noodles
