What are the customs and habits of the Dong people?

Dong people's customs and habits include changing light belts, sending spring cattle, singing moon songs to block roads, playing oil tea, leading the way and ordering tea. Among them, sending spring cattle is a traditional custom of Dong people. On the day of beginning of spring in the lunar calendar, every family prunes and returns to the cowshed, feeds the cows with tender grass and glutinous rice wine, jumps the spring cows, and uses bamboo sticks as the skeleton to paste paper and make them into cow heads. Two people lead the way with a big lantern with the word beginning of spring written on it. They jump spring cattle together, followed by a group of young adults carrying peaches and hoes, performing various farming actions while walking.
