What does screen printing include and photosensitive imaging?

The production of screen printing includes photosensitive imaging method and manual film making method.

1. Screen printing plate-making method

Generally speaking, the production process of screen printing is different because of the different photosensitive materials used, but no matter which process is adopted, the following steps are indispensable in the screen production process: screen and screen frame selection, screen drawing, screen washing, coating photosensitive materials, exposure, development and drying.

firstly, the photosensitive film is laid flat on the working surface, and the photosensitive material is coated on the wrist plate base, and the elongated wrist net rack is laid on the film base. Then, the photosensitive paste is placed on the net rack, and the pressure of the photosensitive film is increased with a soft scraper. After it is completely dried, the plastic plate base is taken out, and then the plate is made with the sensitive film attached to the wrist. After the screen is developed and dried, it can be made into a plate.

The key to screen printing is to make positive films, that is, to draw positive films by hand. The opaque part of the positive film forms an open area on the screen photosensitive film

III. Photographic imaging method

A photosensitive plate is a photosensitive material that hardens when exposed by an ultraviolet light source. This material is coated on the screen surface, and the ultraviolet light source passes through the dark opaque graphic transparent film, so that the photosensitive material hardens and blocks the mesh.

The opaque part, which can't be penetrated by ultraviolet rays, has a soft film because it has not been irradiated by ultraviolet rays, and the soft film is completely washed away by water during washing, which becomes an open area on the screen.
