Leng Jun was born in Dazhu, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province in 1963. Graduated from the Art Department of Wuhan Normal University, Hankou Branch in 1984. A professional painter from Wuhan Painting Academy, a researcher at the Oil Painting Institute of the China National Academy of Painting, a national first-class artist, and a member of the Chinese Artists Association, Leng Jun was elected at the 8th Congress of the Hubei Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles that concluded on the afternoon of September 22, 2007. He is the vice chairman of the 8th Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles.

His works have participated in many domestic and foreign exhibitions and won several national art exhibition awards. He is famous at home and abroad. He is a very influential young artist in mainland China in recent years.
