Why newcomers don't play Marvel or Yu-Gi-Oh!

I'm a King of Games player and don't know much about Marvel. Talking only about King of Games. It's the same traditional collectible card game, and there should still be ****ing similarities.

One is the depth of the card pool. Yu-Gi-Oh, which has been around for 20 years now, has ****ed up nearly 8,000 types of cards, and while only a small percentage of them are useful, and even fewer are commonly used, it's a lot to memorize for a newcomer.

Two, the rules. The rules of Yu-Gi-Oh! are so detailed, and new card types and rules appear in every installment, that even veteran players may not be able to fully grasp them, and new players who are not patient and capable of learning enough are easily deterred from moving on to more accessible handheld games and the like.

Third, spend. Forming a set of combat-ready licensed decks is generally not a small expense, as little as hundreds or thousands. It's not a small amount for the student class in this country.

The fourth, the environment. Domestic game king in the past two years just got a genuine agent, before that the market is filled with all kinds of pirated cards, mature players less, and concentrated in some big cities. Many places are not able to drive new players collectively. This is also the disadvantage of traditional card games compared with popular online games. Of course, with the various domestic Game King competitions, this is a very promising point of improvement.
