Simple steps of making moon cakes at home
Ingredients: flour 140g, corn starch 50g, baking soda 200g, lard, sugar, purified water 200g, lemon juice 20g, egg 1 piece, red bean or kidney bean 250g, peanut, walnut and melon seeds 20g.
Method:
1. First, put flour, corn starch, eggs, lard, baking soda and lemon juice into a pot, add water and stir evenly to form dough, and cover with a film. Leave it for 20 minutes.
2. Cook red beans or kidney beans to make bean paste (you can buy bean paste directly from the supermarket), add white sugar and stir well, then add walnuts, peanuts and melon seeds.
3. Use the mixed noodles, wrap the prepared bean paste nut stuffing, make it into a ball, and then shape the moon cake into a moon cake shape. Put it in a baking tray covered with tin foil.
4. Before copying, brush a layer of cooking oil on the moon cake with a brush.
5. Preheat the oven for 5 minutes, then bake the moon cakes in the oven for 20 minutes (200 degrees).
6. Turn off the fire, take out the tested moon cakes, and eat them after cooling.
