First, planting time

Third, seed treatment.

Its seeds are small and germinate slowly. In order to improve the emergence rate of seeds, it is necessary to pretreat the seeds. Soak the seeds in warm water for about 12- 16 hours, and then take them out to dry. Finally, they can be mixed with dry sand and sown. In order to sow more evenly, you can add more fine sand.

Fourth, sow.

Sowing can be done by drilling or hole sowing. When sowing in holes, sow 2-3 seeds in each hole, and then cover with soil 1- 1.2cm thick. The sowing depth of drilling is the same, which can save seeds and make seedlings more uniform.

Generally, planting carrots requires three times of thinning. When 2-3 leaves grow, the interval between seedlings can be 1-2cm, after 5-6 leaves grow for the second time, the interval is 2-3cm, and the last time can be decided according to their growth conditions, and the interval can be 3-5cm. Weeds will grow during their growth. In order not to affect the growth of carrots, weeds should be cleared in time.

Sowing method
