1. Beijing University of Chinese Medicine

Beijing University of Chinese Medicine was founded in 1956, formerly known as Beijing College of Chinese Medicine, and is the earliest institution of higher learning of Chinese medicine approved by the State Council. 1960 was identified as a national key university by the central government; 1993, renamed Beijing University of Chinese Medicine; 1996 was selected as the national "2 1 1 project" key construction university.

In 2000, it merged with Beijing College of Acupuncture and Orthopaedics to form a new Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. 20 1 1 was selected as the national "985 engineering advantage discipline innovation platform" to build universities; 20 17 Chinese medicine, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, and traditional Chinese medicine were selected into the national "double-first-class" construction discipline list.

Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, founded in 1956, is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning of traditional Chinese medicine established in China after the birth of New China. It is a Chinese medicine institution jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the local government and a key high-level university in Shanghai. The school is located in the scientific research and education area of Zhangjiang Science City in Pudong New Area, covering an area of more than 500 mu, with complete teaching facilities and beautiful environment.

Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was founded in 1958, formerly known as Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 2006, it was renamed Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 20 17, the school entered the ranks of world-class universities and first-class discipline construction universities. In 2020, the school became a university jointly established by Tianjin Municipal People's Government, Ministry of Education and state administration of traditional chinese medicine.

In 2022, the school became the second round of "double first-class" construction colleges and universities. The school is the only China International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine approved by the former State Education Commission, and is the chairman of the Education Steering Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. The school has Jinghai Tuanbo Campus and Nankai Yuquan Road Campus.

The main campus is located in Tuanbo Lake, Jinghai District, Tianjin, covering an area of more than 2,600 mu and a construction area of more than 600,000 square meters. The campus is characterized by lake landscape, traditional Chinese medicine vegetation and traditional Chinese medicine culture. Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, founded in 1954, is a national "double-class" university, a high-level university in Jiangsu Province, and a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, Jiangsu Provincial People's Government and state administration of traditional chinese medicine.

This school is one of the earliest Chinese medicine institutions of higher learning in China. It has sent the first batch of teachers, compiled the first set of teaching materials and formulated the first edition of teaching syllabus for the training of higher Chinese medicine education in New China, which has made a pioneering contribution to the establishment and popularization of higher Chinese medicine education model in New China, and is known as the "cradle of higher Chinese medicine education".

The school has three campuses: Xianlin, Hanzhongmen and Taizhou. There are 9 colleges and teaching institutions, including the first, second and third clinical medical colleges, and there are 15 affiliated hospitals and 3 affiliated pharmaceutical companies.
