Various Local Operas
Peking Opera is one of the opera genres formed in Beijing, which has a history of nearly 200 years. It was formed on the basis of Huizhou Opera and Han Opera, absorbing the advantages and specialties of Kunqu Opera, Qin Opera and other opera styles.
The official formation of Beijing Opera is about Daoguang 20 years (1840) after the event, when the Beijing Opera's various singing style has been initially available, the language characteristics of Beijing Opera has been basically formed, in the role of the line of the new changes have occurred.
The music of Peking Opera belongs to the plate cavity, and the main singing cavity has two systems: Erhuang and Xipi, so Peking Opera is also called "Pihuang". The singing of Peking Opera is characterized by rich tunes, beautiful melodies, rhythmic ups and downs, and distinctive changes. The singing and use of the voice of each character in each line of the opera is unique, giving full play to the strengths and creativity of the actors in each line of the opera. 2,Lv Opera
Lv Opera evolved from the rap form of "Sitting Yangqin". It originated in Guangrao and Boxing in the northeast of Shandong Province, and has spread throughout the province and is popular in parts of Henan, Jiangsu, and Anhui Provinces. The singing style is a variation of the board, the main board has four flat, two boards, in addition to the doll cavity and other parts of the song interspersed with the use of cards. The music is simple and popular, and is loved by the masses.
3,Meidu
Meidu, also known as "Miaodu", is one of the main opera styles in Shaanxi Province. It is prevalent in the Guanzhong area, and is also popular in parts of Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Sichuan, Gansu, and Ningxia.
Meidu, said that its main tunes are composed of folk songs from Meixian County and Tuxian County at the foot of the Qinling Mountains, which gave it its name; and it is also known as "Misty" because its tunes are so sentimental and entangled, pleasant to the ear, and quite fascinating.
Meidu's language is very popular and lively, and its musical style is very simple. The structure of the music is in the form of a set of songs, many of which are composed of sentences of varying lengths. The accompanying instruments of Meidu are mainly the sanxian (three-stringed instrument), supplemented by the banhu and the sea flute, with the gradual addition of the yangqin, the erhu, the violin, and some of the Chinese and Western wind percussion instruments, which are basically the same as those of the Qinqiang.
4, Evaluation Opera
Evaluation Opera was originally known as "Pingqiang Bangzi Opera", commonly known as "Tangshan Luzi", "Bopping Opera". Around 1910, it was formed in the area of Tangshan, Hebei Province.
The predecessor of the opera was the counterpart of the "Lotus Flower Opera" in Luanzhou in the eastern part of Hebei Province. Lotus Flower Down is a form of make-up sitting and singing, and the repertoire includes "Wang Er Sister Thinks of Her Husband" and "Yang Er She Transfers Fortunes". After the importation of Northeastern Bunju (Two People's Revolutions) into China, Lotus Flower Opera artists absorbed the music, repertoire and performances of Bunju to make the rap form of counterpoint Lotus Flower Opera into Lotus Flower Opera with performances, which is the prototype of Pingju Opera; therefore, Pingju Opera is sometimes referred to as Bunju or Bunju Opera later on. "In 1909, "Lotus Flower Opera" was introduced into Tangshan and was welcomed by the coal miners, and was called "Tangshan Lok Zi". Then it absorbed the full set of instruments of Hebei Opera, so it was named "Pingqiang Bangkang Opera", which is shortened to Pingju Opera. Later, it absorbed the music and performing arts of Beijing Opera, shadow puppets and drums, which further developed the opera.
5,Huangmei Opera
Huangmei Opera is the main local opera in Anhui Province. Originally known as "Huangmei tune" or "tea picking opera", popular in Anhui and Jiangxi, Hubei part of the region, originated in Hubei Huangmei around the tea picking songs. Before and after the Daoguang in Hubei, Anhui, Jiangxi provinces in the adjoining areas, the formation of singing "two big plays", "three small plays" as the main folk opera. After absorbing the music and performing arts of Qingyang opera and Hui opera as well as folk music, the opera was performed. The main singing voice, the big opera has flat words, fire work, two lines, three lines, color cavity, etc.; small opera with their own independent singing voice. Due to the long popularity in the Anqing area centered on Huaining, it has formed a unique style by using the local dialect to sing, so it was once called "Huai cavity".
6,Northeastern Regional Opera
The opera was developed on the basis of the Northeastern region's Errenjuan, and is performed by many people. The music is basically the same as that of Errenwang, but the color of the opera has been discarded and the drama has been increased. It is commonly performed in Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning.
7, Qinqiang
Popular in Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Xinjiang and other places. It originated from the folk tunes of Shaanxi and Gansu and the cymbals and drums of Song, Jin and Yuan, and was formed in the middle of the Ming Dynasty. Influenced by the Kun cavity, Eagle cavity, Qingyang cavity, the clappers beat the knots, the tone is high, exciting, long for the expression of majestic, sad and angry emotions.
8, Yong Opera
Popular in Nanning, Baise, Qinzhou and other places in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. In the Daoguang and Xianfeng years of the Qing Dynasty, it was formed in Nanning, which was known as Yongzhou in ancient times, hence the name "Yong Opera". It was developed on the basis of Binyang Opera and Wuming Old Opera and belongs to the Pihuang system. The singing and repertoire are similar to those of Gui Opera, and some artistic elements of Cantonese Opera have also been absorbed. The performances are simple and rough, with special techniques such as "crossing the mountain", "jumping on the chair" and "rolling the rattan card" in martial arts. Before the liberation, it had been gradually disappeared, but after the liberation, it gained a new life.
9,Liuzi Opera
Also called "string opera". Popular in Shandong and Jiangsu, Henan part of the region. Formerly known as "Liu Zi cavity", is popular in Henan, Shandong by the hillside goat, Huang Ying Er, playing jujube pole, Liu Zi and other strings of the song in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, and sung with the addition of the "roll" method. Traditional operas such as "Huangsangdian", "Hanging Dragon Lanterns" and "Playing Jumping Boats" are all of old style.
