How did Chinese characters come from?
The word "Han" originated from the Han Dynasty, and neighboring countries and nationalities later called us "Tang people", "Song people" and "Qing people", but "Han" has the most far-reaching influence, so it is now the official title of our nation.
The "Han Dynasty" is called the Han Dynasty because Liu Bang was enfeoffed by his ally Xiang Yu in Hanzhong, Shaanxi, the birthplace of Liu Bang after overthrowing the Qin Dynasty. This place was called "Han" at that time, and Liu Bang's forces were also called "Han". The war between Liu Bang and Xiang Yu was also called "Chu-Han hegemony". After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Liu Bang's dynasty name was also "Han".
