How should table tennis shoes choose? What kind of shoes are better?

In major projects such as football and basketball, major manufacturers have been studying soles for many years, and new technologies of soles have emerged one after another, and shading has gradually evolved from several basic lines to today's mixed lines. Use different textures in the corresponding parts to achieve the best overall performance. Although table tennis is not as popular as the three big balls, the balls are small, but the skills of sneakers are not at the bottom. The high-end sports shoes of three major brands in table tennis shoes (Adidas, Anshi and Mizuno) have their own unique soles. Regardless of texture, material, exhaust and details, each has its own emphasis.

Shading method

Herringbone sunshade, which was widely used in the early days, is recognized as a kind of sunshade with good anti-skid performance, large friction force, good grip and simple technology. Especially in indoor venues, herringbone patterns of rubber soles in early table tennis shoes were also widely used. Nowadays, manufacturers are more and more aware of the characteristics of table tennis, which requires accurate footwork in a small range, which is different from running in a large range such as football and basketball. Therefore, table tennis shoes mostly uses wavy shading, even deformed grids with wavy shading in the longitudinal direction, mainly to increase the local friction of the forefoot, and to change rapidly from left to right, back and forth. On the inside and outside of the toes, some shoes have added materials different from the soles to play an auxiliary role.

The circular shading and gasket on the inside of the forefoot are commonly used in table tennis shoes, which can change the elasticity and friction of the inside of the forefoot and provide stronger local support when changing direction and starting.

Euler used three rings and washers to strengthen the hardness.

The local sucker design of the front foot is Arthur's original creation. Each support point is a rubber column, and the stigma part is an inward concave ellipse, and the elasticity of many rubber columns is obvious. Patterned rubber floor is not where the sucker effect comes into play. On the floor with smooth surface, this sneaker has no small advantage in skid resistance.

Octopus tentacle-like sucker has a strong grip on flat ground.

Hexagonal honeycomb structures are used in many fields of soles. Mizuno is used on the inside of the forefoot of Wave Medal 3 to improve the friction here. When moving in any direction, the corners of each hexagonal honeycomb will provide reverse support and rebound, especially on hard ground.

Bottom thickness

As can be seen from the table, the thickness of the forefoot is relatively thin, and the highest is only 1.4 cm, mainly in the range of1.1-1.2cm.. Because the footwork of table tennis is most closely related to the forefoot, even the heels are off the ground when moving. The relative difference of heel thickness is obvious, which shows the positioning of different shoes of different brands:

Adidas soles belong to the well-behaved thick-soled school, and most of them are made of rubber with high hardness. Although heavy, its bearing capacity and wear resistance are among the best in table tennis shoes. However, the thick soles have certain restrictions on speed, and the feeling of lightness and agility is not obvious in Adidas' present table tennis shoes, at least in Asia.

Mizuno these two sneakers, one pays attention to speed, the other pays attention to stability. Obviously, Wave Drive 5 is much thinner than Wave Medal 3 and strives for speed, which has always been the favorite of skilled player Lin. Wave Medal 3 is a rare platform in high-end table tennis shoes, which is stable and durable, and is more suitable for powerful players who pay attention to their strength and quit the stage.

Arthur relies on the advantages of material science and technology, and the midsole has strong shock absorption, so the sole is thin as a whole. The thinnest forefoot is only 0.8 cm, which is more grounded and lighter. Butterfly high-end sneakers with King Arthur, the sole has a strong King Arthur style, and the energy force VII is thin before and after.

The thickness of the sole varies with the brand tradition and specific series, and the personal choice depends on the technical style. Arthur and Mizuno Wave Drive series are both good choices if there are frequent near-stage sports, mainly fast starting and left-right conversion, and styles with thin soles are needed. Those with calm style or heavy weight can choose thicker soles, and Adidas and Mizuno Wave Medal are more suitable. Butterfly sports shoes, because there are many styles, both types are involved. Generally, for low-end sneakers, because of the cost, it is impossible to use top-grade materials for the midsole and outsole. Therefore, in order to cushion the vibration and be firm, the soles are thicker and the starting speed will be affected to some extent.

Bottom infiltration

Sole penetration is usually an element of high-end shoes, and most of them are concentrated in imported brands, which is very helpful for sweating on the soles of feet, especially for friends who are prone to sweating. In today's domestic brands, the bottom is hard to find, only in the silver fox generation of Sannuo.
