Brief introduction of Rui's folk custom
Form of performance
There are three main performance forms of Rui lion: one is "the lion enters the door", the other is "the lion club", also known as "Yuanyang lion", and the third is "Rui lion spits pearls". The "lion in the door" is free to play. When the lion comes to the door, the owner sets off firecrackers, and the lion improvises, imitating various movements of the lion, or panicking and dodging, or calming down to listen to the guns. The dance is vivid and pleasing to the eye. During the "Lions Club", the guest lion comes to the door, the main lion greets him, the host and guest meet, nod and bow, and each performs short piles to show humility. When setting off firecrackers, be humble to each other, both enter the hall, and be polite and affectionate. The Red Lion Spits Beads is the last performance. At that time, the owner put red on the head of the red lion (the red cloth is three feet six inches, and there is a red envelope) to show his gratitude.
