Who invented the raincoat?
An American named McIntosh suddenly began to rain on his way home. McIntosh took off his coat and covered his head.
Back home, McIntosh managed to get a bucket of natural rubber emulsion invented by Indians and spread it evenly on his cloth coat. After breakfast, it began to rain again McIntosh immediately went into the rain wearing a rubber-coated coat, trying to test the rain-proof effect of this coat. Sure enough, the rain ran down the coat covered with natural rubber, and the clothes inside were not wet at all.
In this way, MacIntosh's coat made of natural rubber became the first raincoat in the world.
