Entry Requirements:

1. Participants' nationality is not limited.

2. The application form can be downloaded from www.huain.com Hwa Yin website.

3, two recent two-inch photos, ID card and passport (for overseas contestants) copies

Preliminary competition format:

Auditions will be organized by each region from now on. After passing the selection rounds, the contestants will enter the Hong Kong Grand Final (with a quota limit). Those who enter the final round will receive a final round notification letter from the organizing committee.

1. Junior Non-Professional Group A (under 14 years old) with designated repertoire

2. Junior Non-Professional Group B (15-17 years old) with designated repertoire

3. Junior Non-Professional Group (18 years old and above) with designated repertoire

4. Junior Professional Group (under 17 years old) with designated repertoire

5. Youth Professional Group (aged 18 or above) with designated repertoire

6. Overseas Group (Mainland China. Hong Kong. Macau. Overseas Group (outside of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan): No age limit, no repertoire limit, 6-minute time limit

7. Professional Repertoire Group: Format limited to duet, trio, quartet, no repertoire limit, 8-minute time limit.

The players must be able to play the designated repertoire. p>Competitors must play one piece from the designated repertoire with a time limit of six minutes.

Junior Professionals and Young Professionals must play one of the designated traditional repertoire, and one repertoire of their own choice. One, (optional repertoire juvenile professional group for the modern repertoire created after 1960, the young professional group for the modern repertoire created after 1990) the two time limit of 10 minutes, you can choose your own section to play.

Final rules:

1, the final is divided into juvenile non-professional group A, juvenile non-professional group B, youth non-professional group, juvenile professional group, young professional group, overseas group, professional repertoire group.

2. The finalists will draw lots to decide the order of appearance.

3. The final scores will be scored on the spot by 9 judges, removing the highest and lowest scores, and averaging the scores of the remaining 7 judges. The average of the remaining 7 judges will be the final score of the contestant, which will be announced on the spot.

4. The organizing committee will preside over the entire event. Never allow interference with the results of the competition and not

normal things to happen, to ensure that the final in an open, fair and impartial principle

under.

5. The finalists should arrive at the competition venue on time and wait for the venue, unauthorized departure or

late, will be disqualified from the final.

6. Players must follow the instructions of the staff. Keep the field of play quiet. Keep clean and take care of the facilities.

Awards:

The final of each category set a gold medal, silver medal two, bronze medal three, the other for outstanding performance award.

The instructors of the gold, silver and bronze medalists will receive the Outstanding Teacher Award.

The award certificates are signed by the nine judges.

The jury is made up of internationally renowned artists and the assessment of the finalists is final and irrevocable.

The organizing committee of the gold, silver and bronze medalists will hold a large-scale "The 2nd International Guzheng Competition Winners' Concert" in Hong Kong and Macau at a later date.

July 19, 20, 21, 2011 every day from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm there are two jury experts on master class.
