What complications may occur after appendectomy?
1. Hemorrhage: mesoappendix's ligature is loose, causing mesenteric vascular bleeding. It is characterized by abdominal pain, abdominal distension and hemorrhagic shock.
2. Incision infection: This is the most common postoperative complication. More common in suppurative or perforated acute appendicitis. The clinical manifestations were fever, incision swelling and pain, local redness and tenderness 2-3 days after operation.
3. Adhesive intestinal obstruction: It is related to many reasons, such as severe local inflammation, surgical injury and bed rest after operation.
4. Appendicitis: Inflammation recurred after operation, and it still showed the symptoms of appendicitis.
