Legal analysis: In 2021, a new version of the List of Wildlife under State Key Protection was released, and many of the traditional caged ornamental birds on the list have been upgraded to wildlife under state key protection, including common grackles, painted ladybirds, Mongolian larks, Aurora jays, red-coated embroidered-eye bird (pink-eyed), red-throated songbird (red indigo-chinned), blue-throated songbird (blue indigo-chinned), northern vermilion flycatcher (sparrow), red cross-billed sparrow (crossbill) ), red-billed acacia, song lark, lark (calling sky), black-throated thrush, brown thrush, silver-eared acacia red, red-billed acacia, Xinjiang songbird, and brown-headed vireo are all species upgraded to the state's second class of key wildlife protection.
