(I) Luoyang Tang Sancai
Tang Sancai is the essence of Tang Dynasty art, which has a history of more than one thousand years. Tang Sancai refers to the glaze colors of Tang Dynasty pottery and figurines. Sancai is a general term and is not limited to three colors. During the Tang Dynasty, red, green and yellow were the dominant colors and were known as the Tang Three Colors. In fact, in addition to the above three colors, there are white, black, blue and purple colors. This Tang Dynasty art treasure was first unearthed in Luoyang, so it was called Luoyang Tang Three Colors. The copying and imitation of the Luoyang Tang Three-color has a hundred-year history. In the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, the Gao family of Nanshishan began to imitate it. Through the research and development of successive generations of artists, the craftsmanship and artistic level of the production has reached a certain height, and it ranks among the top in the national appraisal of craft products. (2) Luoyang lanterns
Luoyang lanterns have a long history, simple and elegant, with rich national and local characteristics. Luoyang palace lanterns are of various kinds, including white hat square lanterns, red gauze garden lanterns, hexagonal head lanterns, lantern lanterns, butterfly lanterns, two-dragon lanterns, Luohan lanterns, etc. In particular, red lanterns are the most famous. There are many ancient tombs in Luoyang, and it used to be said that there is no cow lying on Mangshan Mountain. Some Luoyang people in China used to dig tombs for a living. Based on their experience, they made a semi-circular shovel with a long barrel. This shovel was semi-cylindrical with a long wooden handle and was equipped with a hand-held probe. It drills sharp holes, uses a lot of soil, digs profitably, and keeps the original soil intact. It is easy to use and accurate judgment. After liberation, it was adopted by the cultural relics department and named Luoyang shovel. Before liberation, there were four companies producing this kind of shovel in Luoyang, and Yanglin's family was the best, so it was also known as Yanglin s shovel. 1955, Luoyang was designated as a national key construction city, and thousands of ancient tombs and ruins were discovered in Luoyang by using Yanglin's shovel. It was then affirmed by the national cultural relics department and promoted nationwide, and then spread to the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe and Asian countries, where it was recognized as the Luoyang shovel.
